Uncover the mysteries of ancient creatures and lost worlds at our Magical Discoveries camp! Designed for ages 5-12, this enchanting week-long adventure is all about sparking imagination and appreciation for history. Set amidst the natural beauty of Riverside Park, campers will embark on a journey of discovery and creativity.
Throughout the week, campers will delve into the realms of dinosaurs and other ancient creatures, learning to identify flora and fauna from prehistoric times. Led by experienced instructors, campers will engage in hands-on activities such as crafting ancient artifacts, exploring dinosaur habitats, and participating in interactive games that promote teamwork and critical thinking.

August 11-15 | Time Travelers' Camp
Embark on an epic journey through time with our Time Travelers' camp! Designed for ages 5-12 this thrilling week-long adventure is all about exploring history, culture, and the wonders of the past. Set against the backdrop of Riverside Park, campers will step back in time to discover ancient civilizations, legendary figures, and forgotten worlds.
Throughout the week, campers will engage in hands-on activities that bring history to life, from crafting artifacts to reenacting historical events. Led by experienced instructors, campers will delve into different time periods, learning about the customs, traditions, and innovations of the past.
Our goal is to inspire a love for history and a curiosity about the world, all while fostering new friendships and creating lasting memories. Join us at Time Travelers' camp for a week filled with adventure, discovery, and the magic of time travel!
About the director
Lauren Martin
I'm Lauren Martin, the director of Cool Aunt Creatives, and I'm thrilled to introduce you to our Cool Aunt Jr programming. With a background in landscape architecture and a specialization in environmental psychology and playground design, I bring an educational perspective to our camp experiences. As a dance teacher, however, I understand the importance of movement, creative expression, and most importantly, fun in child development.
My passion for the outdoors and adventure has always been a big part of my life, especially when performing my Cool Aunt duties with my even cooler niece and nephew. Over the years, I've had the joy of coordinating and instructing nature and crafts camps in other cities, where I've seen firsthand the impact these experiences can have on children.
In Guelph for the summer of 2024, I'm excited to bring these experiences to life at Cool Aunt Jr Summer Camp. Join me for a summer filled with creativity, exploration, and unforgettable memories!
